The trial smile

Before a single tooth is prepared, we mock the proposed shape up in resin directly on your teeth. You walk out with it, live with it for a day, photograph it, show the people whose opinion you actually care about. Then we change it, or we proceed.

Additive first

Where composite bonding can achieve the result, we use it, because it removes no enamel and can be undone. Veneers are the answer less often than the internet suggests.

Whitening

Custom trays and a supervised gel, worn at home over two weeks. Slower than an in-chair session and considerably kinder to sensitive teeth, with a better hold on the result.

The ones people actually ask.

Will whitening damage my enamel?
No. Supervised peroxide gels do not soften enamel at these concentrations. Sensitivity during the course is common and temporary.
How long does bonding last?
Five to eight years with care. It stains and chips more readily than porcelain, and it is repairable in a single visit.
Can I see it before I commit?
Yes — that is the whole point of the trial smile, and it is credited against the treatment if you go ahead.
