Accessibility

The standard we build to

WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That is a target we work towards rather than a certification we hold, and the list below is deliberately specific so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

What is in place

• Every page has a skip link, one main landmark, and headings in order
• Text contrast meets 4.5:1 — the small metadata colour was measured at 2.1:1 and was replaced
• Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline
• The before-and-after comparator is a native range control: arrow keys move it and screen readers announce the position
• Accordions expose their state with aria-expanded; form fields have real labels and required fields are announced, not only marked with an asterisk
• Animation is limited to one reveal, and is switched off entirely under prefers-reduced-motion
• Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels
• Layouts reflow to 320px and support 200% zoom without loss of content

Known gaps

• Photographs currently carry descriptive placeholders; final alternative text is written when the real photography is placed
• The site has not yet been tested with JAWS, NVDA or VoiceOver by a person who uses them daily — that testing is outstanding
• No automated accessibility check runs on every build yet

The building

Step-free from the street, an accessible bathroom, parking directly outside, and ground-floor treatment rooms. If you need a wheelchair transfer, a longer appointment, a quiet time of day, or a British Sign Language or spoken-language interpreter, say so when you book and we will arrange it at no cost to you.
