Privacy notice
Short version: we collect what we need to treat you and arrange your appointments, we do not sell it, and you can ask for a copy or its deletion at any time.
What we collect
Your name and contact details, your medical and dental history, clinical images and scans, correspondence with you, and payment records. Website visits are measured in aggregate; we do not run advertising trackers.
Why we hold it
To provide care safely, to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to dental practices in Michigan, and to contact you about your own appointments. We do not send marketing unless you ask us to.
Who sees it
The clinicians and coordinators involved in your care. Laboratories and specialists receive only what a specific case requires. Insurers receive claim information you have authorised. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
Clinical records are retained for ten years after your last appointment, or until a child patient turns 28, whichever is later. After that they are securely destroyed.
Your rights
- A copy of your records, including images, within 30 days
- Correction of anything inaccurate
- Deletion, where no legal retention duty applies
- A complaint to us first, and to the relevant regulator if we do not resolve it
