Dentista
Dentista/New patients

Your first visit, described honestly, in advance.

Forty minutes, no treatment unless you are in pain and ask for it, and a written plan afterwards. Here is exactly how it goes and what it costs.

01

Before you arrive

A medical history form arrives by email. Filling it in beforehand gives us ten more minutes with you.

5 minutes, at home
02

The conversation first

We start with what brought you in and what you have been told before. This happens sitting upright, in a room, not reclined under a light.

03

Examination

Teeth, gums, soft tissues and bite. Digital X-rays and photographs where your history warrants them.

What we found

Shown to you on screen. Anything we recommend, you will see the reason for on your own images.

The written plan

Sequenced and costed within three working days, with a do-less option alongside the ideal one. No follow-up sales call.

Bring

Four things, none of them essential.

  • A list of medications, including supplements
  • Your insurance details, if you have cover
  • Any X-rays or treatment plans from another practice
  • The question you have been putting off asking

If you arrive with none of it, the appointment still happens.

Questions

Insurance, money, and nerves.

We are out of network with every insurer, by choice — being in network means letting a third party set appointment lengths and material choices. We file the claim for you and most PPO plans reimburse 50–80% of our fee. Bring your plan details and we will estimate your out-of-pocket before you agree to anything.

Treatment over $1,000 can be split across the course of care at no interest. Longer financing through a third party is available and we will tell you plainly what it costs you.

Say so when you book and we will schedule a longer first appointment with nothing clinical in it — you sit in the waiting room, meet the clinician, and leave. A surprising number of people start that way.

From age three. Their first visit is a ride in the chair and a count of the teeth, nothing more.

Call the practice number. We hold slots every weekday for patients in pain, including people who have never been here before.

Next step

Book the examination. Decide about everything else later.

Forty minutes, ninety-five dollars, credited against whatever you choose to do next.
